Sinfonia Cymru and Fitzwilliam Quartet

Mid Wales Music Trust was delighted to collaborate with Hay Music Trust and the Hay on Wye Chamber Music Festival in 2015 and 2016.

In 2016 the Festival took place over the long weekend of 31 March - 3 April and included:

concerts by the Fitzwilliam String Quartet and Sinfonia Cymru
a screening of Barrie Gavin’s film about Shostakovich ‘The Face Behind The Face’
an exhibition exploring the relationship between Shostakovich and the Fitzwilliam Quartet
a creative music-making workshop with The Family Place.
